The wife holds the hand of Assistant Sub-Inspector Milan Raya, who was brutally killed during the Gen Z protests, before his cremation at Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal, on Friday, September 12, 2025.
The Police performed a guard of honor. It marks the fifth day of an army-imposed curfew, during which more than 51 people have been killed.
The Gen Z protests, fueled by anger over corruption and the social media ban, led to Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli's resignation.
