KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 17

Chinese automaker Dongfeng Motor has entered the Egyptian market, unveiling nine new vehicle models at a launch event held in Cairo.

The models, showcased at the Egypt International Exhibition Center under the theme 'East Wind Infinite World,' include the MAGE ICE and SHINE ICE along with electric and hybrid options such as the DONGFENG BOX, DONGFENG 007, MAGE EV, VOYAH FREE, VOYAH DREAM, VOYAH PASSION, and MHERO 917.

The event drew government officials, business representatives, and car enthusiasts, who viewed the vehicles and learned about their technology. Dongfeng said the lineup targets both conventional and new-energy segments to meet rising demand for modern mobility in Egypt.

The launch signals a broader push by Dongfeng to strengthen its global footprint and tap into the Middle East and North African automotive markets.
