KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 17

Nepal's sole secondary stock market, Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), will resume regular trading on Thursday, the Securities Board of Nepal announced.

Trading had been halted amid the Gen Z protests under a board directive, prompting criticism from investors.

The NEPSE last conducted trading on September 8, closing at 2,672.25 points. This reflected a decline of 35.99 points, or 1.32%, from the previous session. That day's trading volume reached 11.71 million shares, with a total turnover of NPR 5.23 billion.
