Newly appointed Interim Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, and founder of the National Innovation Center, Mahabir Pun, smiles upon his arrival for the oath-taking ceremony at Sheetal Niwas in Kathmandu, Nepal, on Monday, September 22, 2025.

The ceremony also marked the swearing-in of former Supreme Court Justice Anil Kumar Sinha as Minister for Industry, Law, and Land Management; Dr. Madan Pariyar as Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development; and veteran journalist Jagdish Kharel as Minister for Communications and Information Technology. President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath of office in the presence of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, and National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal.
