KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 5

At least 14 people died after being buried in landslide in Ilam.

According to Chief District Officer, Sunita Nepal, five persons died in Maijogmai rural municipality-5, six in Ilam municipality-6 and three in Mangsebung rural municipality-1.

Police personnel have moved towards the incident sites as most of the incident sites are located in remote area. Locals have been carrying out rescue operation and the number of landslide victims might increase.

Meanwhile, nine people have gone missing in landslide, according to Armed Police Force nepal.
