Vacancy open for Head Coach of Nepal women's national cricket team

KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 12

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a vacancy for the position of Head Coach for the Nepal National Women's Cricket Team, inviting qualified candidates with international-level coaching credentials.

According to CAN, the head coach will be responsible for delivering high-quality, international-standard coaching to enhance team performance and consistency in global competitions. The role also involves leading a team of skilled coaching and support staff, overseeing their recruitment, and managing their performance and development.

The position, based in Kathmandu, will require frequent travel within Nepal and abroad as per the team's engagements. The selected candidate will work in close coordination with CAN's Cricket Operations Manager, contributing to long-term talent identification and development programs, including those under the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Applicants must possess ECB/CA Level 3 (or equivalent) coaching accreditation or higher, along with a minimum of five years of professional coaching experience with ICC Full Member, First-Class, or ICC Associate teams.

CAN said candidates with an understanding of women's cricket structures and familiarity with Nepal's associate cricket pathway will be preferred. Proficiency in English communication and ICT skills are also desirable.

The position offers competitive remuneration with full board accommodation in Nepal and covers domestic and international travel costs associated with the team's commitments.
