Over 4,600 disaster incidents recorded in six months across Nepal
335 deaths and 1,264 injuries reported since the start of 2082, according to NDRRMA

Nepal recorded 4,597 disaster-related incidents over the past six and a half months, resulting in 335 deaths and 1,264 injuries, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA).
NDRRMA said 41 people remain missing, mostly due to floods and landslides that struck various parts of the country since the beginning of 2082 B.S.
During the period, the authority documented 316 floods that claimed 37 lives and left 27 missing, while 550 landslides caused 67 deaths.
Other incidents included lightning strikes, snakebites, animal attacks, fires, avalanches, and storms, all contributing to the human and physical losses reported nationwide.
