KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 5

Guru Nanak Jayanti is being observed by the Sikh community living in Nepal and different parts of the world today. Guru Nanak is the founder of Sikh religion.

The spiritual leader had inspired the humanity for tolerance, compassion and love. The Sikh community celebrates the day with much reverence. The prayers are held, sermons recited and activities of human service performed on this occasion.

Equality, peace and nonviolence are special messages of Guru Nanak.
