Nepal registers first win at Hong Kong International Sixes after three straight losses

Nepal notched its first victory at the Hong Kong International Sixes on Friday, defeating India by a commanding 92 runs after suffering three consecutive defeats in the tournament.
In the match held at Mong Kok, Hong Kong, Nepal won the toss and chose to bat first, posting an imposing 137 runs without losing a wicket in the allotted six overs.
Opener Rashid Khan hammered 55 runs off 17 balls before retiring hurt after reaching his half-century, while Sundeep Jora smashed 47 off 12 balls. Lokesh Bam added 31 not out from seven deliveries.
In reply, India collapsed for just 45 runs in three overs, with only Bharat Chipli and Priyank Panchal reaching double figures. Rashid Khan starred with the ball as well, taking three wickets in one over, while Basir Ahmad and Rupesh Singh picked up two and one wickets respectively.
Earlier in the day, Nepal had gone down to Sri Lanka by three wickets. Batting first, Nepal made 86 for four, with Sandeep Jora contributing 39 and Lokesh Bam remaining unbeaten on 31. Sri Lanka chased the target in 5.3 overs, led by unbeaten knocks from Dhananjaya Lakshman (36) and Nimesh Bimukhi (33).
Nepal had also lost its opening matches to South Africa by four wickets and Afghanistan by 17 runs.
