KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 12

Sanima Bank Limited has appointed Pawan Kumar Acharya as its Chief Executive Officer, effective from January 26, 2026 (Magh 12, 2082 BS).

The appointment was approved during the Board of Directors' meeting held on November 10, 2025.

A permanent resident of Lalitpur, Acharya has been with Sanima Bank since its inception in 2004 and currently serves as the Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer. With over 21 years of banking experience, he has led more than ten departments and branches, specializing in credit assessment, digitalization, and project financing.

Acharya also serves as the Chairman of Sanima Capital and has over four years of engineering experience, along with five years as a visiting faculty. He holds an MBA from Pittsburg State University, USA, and a Bachelor's in Engineering from MNIT, Jaipur.

The bank expressed confidence that under his leadership, Sanima Bank will achieve new heights of success.
