KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 12
The Supreme Court has issued an interim order restricting Madhesh Province Chief Minister Saroj Yadav from making any decisions with long-term impact.
A single bench of Justice Tek Prasad Dhungana issued the order on Tuesday in response to a writ petition filed by Arjun Sah and Raki Prasad Sah.
The court directed that Chief Minister Yadav refrain from taking policy decisions that could have lasting consequences for the province.
The court has given priority to the case, calling both parties for the next hearing on November 26, and instructed that a written response be submitted by November 27.
