KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 14

Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd., the authorised distributor of Honda vehicles in Nepal, has launched a nationwide safety recall campaign to replace airbags in several Honda models manufactured between 2001 and 2014.

The recall is part of a global safety initiative by Honda Motor Company, Japan, addressing a potential issue in airbag inflators of older vehicles.

Under the campaign, airbags in Honda Jazz, Accord, CR-V, Civic, City, and Stream models will be replaced free of cost, with Syakar deploying trained technicians for the task.

The company has urged all owners of the specified models to verify eligibility and contact the nearest authorised service centre to schedule an appointment.

Syakar Trading appealed to customers to participate promptly to 'ensure their utmost safety on the road.'
