Preparations complete for second season of Nepal Premier League

League begins November 17; winners to take home Rs 11 million

KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 15

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced that all preparations for the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) have been completed.

The franchise-based T20 tournament will run from November 17 to December 13.

CAN General Secretary Paras Khadka said the winning team will receive Rs 11 million. The first runner-up will take home Rs 5.1 million, the third-place team Rs 2.5 million, and the fourth-place team Rs 1.5 million.

Eight teams are participating this season. Defending champions Janakpur Bolts will face Kathmandu Gurkhas in the opening match at the Tribhuvan University cricket ground in Kirtipur.
