The Ministry of Home Affairs has stated that the situation in Simra is gradually returning to normal.

In a press statement issued this evening, the ministry noted that the local administration is taking all necessary measures to bring the situation under control and restore normalcy while maintaining law and order.

The statement, issued by the Ministry's Assistant Spokesperson Rabindra Acharya, emphasizes that the current government is committed to upholding law and order across the country and ensuring that elections are conducted on schedule.

'Mutual dialogue, coordination, and cooperation among all stakeholders are indispensable for maintaining security and holding elections on the scheduled date. All parties are therefore expected to conduct their respective programs in a peaceful, orderly, and dignified manner, in close coordination with the local administration,' the statement added.
