KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 30 Prime Minister Sushila Karki held discussions with families of Gen Z movement martyrs on Sunday. The meeting, held at the Prime Minister's Office in Singh Durbar, focused on government activities carried out in line with the mandate received following the Gen Z protest, according to the PM's Secretariat. A delegation led by Bhoj Bikram Thapa urged the government to not only concentrate on elections but also take action against those responsible for suppressing the Gen Z protest and perpetuating corruption. The delegation emphasized the urgency of implementing the 14-point memorandum previously submitted by the martyrs' families and warned that failure to do so could lead them to resort to further agitation. In response, Prime Minister Karki and Minister for Youth and Sports, Bablu Gupta, reaffirmed the government's commitment to the Gen Z movement and its mandate, assuring that the concerns and demands of the martyrs' families would be addressed. The meeting was also attended by Chief Secretary Suman Raj Aryal and other officials.
