KATHMANDU: MetLife Nepal has partnered with Neoassure Insurance Agent Pvt. Ltd., the company behind the digital insurance platform Beema Gojima, to introduce a range of exclusive insurance packages that customers can now purchase directly through the mobile app. The collaboration is aimed at widening access to simplified, affordable insurance products and supporting the growth of Nepal's digital insurance ecosystem. Both organisations say the initiative will help strengthen the habit of financial protection among Nepalis by offering an easy, app-based journey for choosing and buying insurance. According to the companies, customers can purchase insurance by entering just a few basic personal details into the Beema Gojima app. The new protection packages combine essential coverages such as: Term Life Insurance,Accidental Death & Permanent Total Disability (AD&PTD), Critical Illness Coverage, providing financial support upon diagnosis of a major covered illness, and Accidental Medical Reimbursement, covering medical costs resulting from accidents. Customers can either buy a standalone Term Life plan or combine multiple protections-including AD&PTD, Critical Illness, and Accidental Medical Reimbursement-to build a comprehensive package tailored to their needs, the company said. MetLife Nepal's Chief Distribution Officer Arun Bahadur Basnet said the partnership reflects the insurer's commitment to making protection simpler and more accessible. 'Our collaboration with Beema Gojima is a meaningful step toward expanding digital insurance access in Nepal, enabling customers to secure their future quickly, easily, and with greater confidence,' he said. Neoassure's General Manager Ugen Gautam said the partnership aligns technology with trusted insurance expertise. 'With this collaboration, Beema Gojima is making quality life insurance more accessible than ever, empowering customers to make informed decisions and secure their families' futures with confidence,' he added. MetLife, one of the world's leading insurance and financial services firms, has been operating in Nepal since 2001. The company provides life, accident and health insurance, along with group employee benefits. Beema Gojima, operated by NeoAssure Insurance Agent Pvt. Ltd., is a digital-first platform that enables users to compare, purchase, and manage insurance policies via mobile app. The platform aims to offer transparent, convenient, and user-friendly insurance solutions for Nepal's modern digital consumers. The companies say the partnership will contribute to the growth of insurtech-the use of digital tools to modernise insurance-by promoting faster, simpler, and more personalised insurance experiences for customers nationwide.
