Gold rebounds, silver crosses Rs 4,000 per tola

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 17 Gold price rebounded in the domestic market on Wednesday, rising by Rs 700 per tola, while silver recorded a sharp surge, hitting a historic high. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 259,700 per tola today, up from Rs 259,000 per tola on Tuesday. Silver posted a significant jump of Rs 170 per tola in a single day, crossing the Rs 4,000 mark for the first time in the Nepali market. Silver is currently being traded at Rs 4,055 per tola, up from Rs 3,885 per tola the previous day.
