KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 24 Nepalaya's monthly musical program Paleti, held on the last Friday of each month at 'r' sala, is set to feature the musical creations of singer and composer Aavaas. In a press statement today, Nepalaya noted that Aavaas has been coordinating Paleti for the past two decades. This month's performance will also feature co-singer Abhigya Ghimire, a rising vocal talent of the new generation, alongside Aavaas. The edition has been titled 'Harmony and Collaboration', the statement added. For this edition of Paleti, Aavaas has brought to life in his compositions the words of poets spanning from the legendary Laxmi Prasad Devkota to the voices of the new generation. Featured in his lineup are compositions by musicians Ambar Gurung, Bhim Birag, and Chandra Bhandari, alongside lyrics by Kaliprasad Rijal, Manjul, Bood Rana, Dinesh Adhikari, Teertha Shrestha, Shravan Mukarung, and Kumar Nagarkoti. This month's Paleti will be held on Friday, December 26, and Saturday, December 27, at Nepalaya's 'r' sala in Kalikasthan. The organizers, Nepalaya, have confirmed that the program will continue uninterrupted in 2026.
