TAC to face Tip Top Help Nepal in final of 9th NVA Volleyball Championship

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 2: Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) held their nerve to defeat a spirited Rukum Paschim Training Centre team in five sets (3–2), securing their berth in the final of the 9th NVA Volleyball Men's Championship today. TAC claimed the opening set 25–20 with relative ease before dropping the next two sets 23–25 and 15–25. They bounced back in style to take the fourth set 26–24, forcing a decisive fifth set. In the final set, TAC gained an early lead, with momentum swinging decisively in favor of the departmental team, eventually clinching the set 15–12 to set up a highly anticipated clash with Help Nepal tomorrow at the same venue. Meanwhile, Tip Top Help Nepal Sports Club advanced to the final by defeating Nepal Police Club (NPC) in straight sets (3–0). Help Nepal dominated the encounter in a one-sided affair at the packed Tripureshwor-based Covered Hall, winning 25–21, 25–23, and 25–22. In the women's final, defending champions Nepal Police Club (NPC) take on Tip Top New Diamond in the first final of the championship.
