KATHMANDU, JANUARY 8 US Ambassador to Nepal, Dean R. Thompson, paid a farewell visit to President Ramchandra Paudel today. During the meeting at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, the two discussed matters concerning Nepal-US relations, as well as mutual interests and areas of shared concern, according to the Office of the President. Thompson has served as the US Ambassador to Nepal since October 2022.
