NC Special General Convention extended until Tuesday

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 12 The closed session of the Nepali Congress special general convention has been extended until Tuesday. The convention, originally scheduled for two days, commenced on Sunday. The announcement was made during the closed session while discussions were underway on the reports presented by NC General Secretaries Gagan Kumar Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma. According to the Special General Convention Organizing Committee, decisions regarding leadership and other key matters are likely to be finalized during Tuesday's session. To facilitate the discussions, nine separate groups were formed for deliberation-seven representing the seven provinces, and two representing the Kathmandu Valley as well as the sister organizations, well-wishers, and public relations committees.
