NPAF hosts AI and Innovation Seminar for Nepali professionals in Dubai

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 20 The Nepali Professional Accountants Foundation (NPAF) successfully concluded its first physical seminar of 2026, titled 'YANTRA – AI & Innovation,' bringing together Nepali accounting and finance professionals based in Dubai. Held at the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel in Bur Dubai, the seminar focused on the growing role of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in shaping the future of the finance profession. The event saw strong participation from young Nepali chartered accountants and finance professionals working in the Middle East. The keynote address was delivered by Padam Kafle, CEO of vCODES, who shared practical insights into how AI is transforming decision-making, risk management and operational efficiency in financial institutions. He stressed that embracing AI is no longer optional for future-ready professionals.

The seminar also featured expert sessions by CA Sanjay Gagarani of Premier Brains Global and CA Mahendra Khiani of KPMG Middle East. The event was attended by Consul General of Nepal to Dubai and the Northern Emirates Hari Odari and ICAI Dubai Chapter President CA Jai Prakash Agarwal. NPAF Chairperson CA Santosh Khanal said the foundation remains committed to empowering Nepali professionals globally through innovation, leadership development and knowledge sharing. The organisation also acknowledged support from the Dubai Nepalese Influential Group and other partners. The seminar concluded with networking sessions, reinforcing professional collaboration within the Nepali diaspora in the UAE.
