KATHMANDU, JANUARY 20 Mahabir Pun, who has filed his nomination for the March 5 House of Representatives (HoR) election from his home district of Myagdi, has stated that his election agenda focuses on amending impractical policies, rules, and laws, creating jobs, and promoting prosperity. On Monday, he resigned as Minister for Education, Science, and Technology in the interim government, which was formed with the mandate to conduct the fresh HoR elections, in order to contest as an independent candidate from Myagdi–1. Pun approached the Beni-based Office of the Chief Election Officer today to file his nomination, becoming the first candidate to do so in the constituency.
