KATHMANDU, JANUARY 21 The Election Commission (EC) has launched a call centre to provide election-related information ahead of the House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5. According to EC Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, the facility, which became operational on January 19, is based at the commission's office in Kantipath and can handle up to 15 calls simultaneously. It has been set up to respond to queries and concerns from voters, citizens and other stakeholders. Voters can access the service by dialing the toll-free number 1102. The call centre is equipped with six desks and operates daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, the commission said.
