Nepali cuisine to be showcased in Washington DC under US–Nepal Gastronomy Exchange

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 3 Nepal will showcase its rich culinary heritage in Washington DC as part of the return leg of the US–Nepal Gastronomy Exchange, following the successful first leg held in November. Chef Rajeev Shrestha, Executive Chef, and Deependra Singh, Director of Food and Beverage, along with their team from Aloft Kathmandu Thamel, will represent Nepal at the event. The team will present authentic Nepali cuisine, highlighting indigenous ingredients, traditional flavors, and the country's diverse food culture to an international audience. The gastronomy exchange aims to strengthen cultural ties between Nepal and the United States while positioning Nepali cuisine on the global culinary map through cultural and culinary diplomacy.
