KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 16 Hyundai Nepal customers can win a trip to the FIFA World Cup 2026 in North America by test-driving any vehicle at authorized showrooms across the country before April. The campaign, launched by Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt Ltd, Hyundai's official distributor in Nepal, offers one lucky participant and a companion the chance to watch a live World Cup match in the United States, Canada, or Mexico-host nations for the 2026 tournament. According to the company, any customer who test-drives a Hyundai vehicle at participating showrooms between now and April 2026 will automatically be entered into the draw. Those who book a vehicle during the campaign period will also receive unspecified exclusive benefits. Laxmi Intercontinental described the initiative as an opportunity for customers to experience Hyundai's 'comfort, advanced technology, and performance firsthand' whilst entering the competition. The Korean carmaker is an Official Partner of FIFA World Cup 2026, a global sponsorship deal that forms the backdrop to similar promotional campaigns in multiple markets. The 2026 World Cup will be the first edition to feature 48 teams, expanded from 32, and will be jointly hosted across three countries for the first time in the tournament's history. Matches are scheduled between June and July 2026, with venues spanning major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Mexico City.
