KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 17 A Shree Airlines aircraft bound for Dhangadhi returned to Kathmandu shortly after midnight on Monday after repeated attempts to land at Dhangadhi Airport failed. The flight had departed Kathmandu at 9:45 pm with 80 people on board, including crew members. Despite multiple landing attempts, the aircraft was unable to touch down and eventually diverted back to the capital, arriving around 12:00 am. Passengers were left stranded following the unscheduled return. Journalist Royal Acharya, who was among those onboard, said some travellers expressed dissatisfaction at the airport after the flight was forced to turn back without reaching its destination. An employee of the airline, Sagar Paudel, said passengers opting not to travel would receive ticket refunds, while those still wishing to proceed would be accommodated on Tuesday morning's flight to Dhangadhi.
