KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 22 The Ministry of Health and Population has directed all hospitals and health institutions to submit details of individuals injured during the Gen Z Movement by February 27, setting the date as the final deadline to complete the listing and classification process. Issuing a notice on February 21, the Ministry said that details of any injured persons who may have been omitted from the existing records must reach the Ministry no later than February 27. The Ministry stated that although the listing and classification/reclassification of the injured has been ongoing, a considerable period has already elapsed, necessitating a firm deadline to conclude the process in a time-bound manner. Submissions received within the stipulated deadline through due process will be verified, after which a final, consolidated list of the injured will be published. The decision was taken following a directive of a coordination committee formed under the Ministry of Home Affairs to make treatment and relief efforts more effective. The Ministry has urged all concerned health institutions to ensure that details of any remaining cases are sent to its official email addresses before the February 27 deadline.
