KATHMANDU, MARCH 3 A man was arrested with illegal firearms in Sipadole of Suryabinayak Municipality–8 on Tuesday. According to the Armed Police Force (APF) Intelligence Bureau, Aayan Sedhai, 31, a permanent resident of Palungtar Municipality–9 in Gorkha who was temporarily residing in Bhudole, Suryabinayak–8, was apprehended during a raid at Ganesh Basti. Security personnel recovered a self-loading gun, an INSAS rifle and four rounds of ammunition from his possession. Police also seized a rubber bullet, a shotgun shell, a khukuri and an axe. Further investigation is underway.
