KATHMANDU, MARCH 5 Ballot boxes from the relevant polling stations are being transported to the Offices of the Returning Officers in Jhapa district. Transportation began after voting concluded at 5:00 pm today. Tulsi Nepal, District Election Officer of Jhapa, stated that vote counting will commence following the decision of an all-party meeting to be held after the collection of all ballot boxes. He added that counting is scheduled to begin from midnight tonight. According to preliminary reports, Jhapa district recorded nearly 65 percent voter turnout. The District Election Office confirmed that voting in all five constituencies of the district concluded peacefully.
