NC leads early vote count in Kailali-1

KATHMANDU, MARCH 6 The vote counting for the House of Representatives (HoR) election has begun in Kailali Constituency-1, with Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Janak Raj Chaudhary taking an early lead. According to the Election Officer's Office, Chaudhary has secured 348 votes in the initial tally. Independent candidate Phaguram Chaudhary, backed by Reshamlal Chaudhary of the Nagarik Unmukti Party Nepal, is in second place with 241 votes, while Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Komal Gyawali has received 199 votes. A total of 59,061 votes were cast in the constituency out of 108,091 registered voters.
