KATHMANDU, MARCH 6 The British Embassy in Kathmandu has congratulated the government and people of Nepal on the successful conduct of the House of Representatives elections held on March 5. In a statement, the UK highlighted that the democratic participation shown by Nepalis provides a strong foundation for good governance and accelerated economic and social development. The embassy added that the United Kingdom looks forward to working closely with Nepal's new government to support a brighter future for the country.
