10 killed in separate road accidents across Nepal

KATHMANDU, MARCH 8 At least 10 people were killed in separate road accidents in different parts of Nepal on Saturday and Sunday, according to the Nepal Police. The Central Police News Desk said one person each died in separate accidents in Tarakeshwar Municipality–4 of Kathmandu, Paroha Municipality–8 and Chandrapur Municipality–1 in Rautahat District, Ganeshman Charnath Municipality–5 in Dhanusha District, and Sundarbazar Municipality–7 in Lamjung District. Another person died in a road accident in Hariwan Municipality–2 of Sarlahi District. In a separate incident in Kalika Municipality–9 of Chitwan District, an auto-rickshaw traveling from Uarpadan Gadhi to Shaktikhor went out of control and crashed, killing four people, including the driver Purna Bik of Rapti Municipality–9. Police said investigations into the accidents are underway.
