The commission had cancelled the candidacy of RSP candidate Kishori Sah 'Kamal' on March 2 after finding his name on the blacklist of the Credit Information Centre. As the matter is currently under Supreme Court review, the commission has instructed the Office of the Election Officer for Dhanusha-1 to withhold the first-past-the-post result until the court issues its ruling. Final results and formal declarations are expected over the coming days as the remaining count is completed.
