KATHMANDU, MARCH 13 KP Sharma Oli, chairperson of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist), has been bereaved of his father. Oli's father, Mohan Prasad Oli, passed away at the Nepal Korea Friendship Municipal Hospital in Bhaktapur this morning. He was 97. According to hospital director DK Roshan, Mohan Prasad Oli was brought to the hospital at around 4:00 am and had been undergoing treatment for the past six months. Oli, accompanied by his spouse Radhika Shakya, visited the hospital to pay his final respects. Several party leaders, including central secretary Mahesh Basnet and central leader Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, along with party members and local leaders, also gathered at the hospital premises to offer condolences. The final rites is being performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today. He is survived by two sons and three daughters.
