KATHMANDU, MARCH 15 The Supreme Court of Nepal has declined to issue an interim order in favour of Kishori Sah, a candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in the House of Representatives election from Dhanusha Constituency No. 1. Sah had filed a writ petition at the court seeking an interim order against the decision of the Election Commission Nepal to cancel his candidacy. A division bench of Justices Binod Sharma and Megharaj Pokharel on Sunday refused to grant the order. With this decision, the Election Commission's move to scrap Sah's candidacy stands, and the victory of Matrika Yadav has effectively been upheld.
