KATHMANDU, MARCH 19 The price of gold fell sharply in the domestic market on Thursday, continuing its downward trend in recent days. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold declined by Rs 5,400 per tola in a single day, and is being traded at Rs 302,300 per tola, down from Rs 307,700 on Wednesday. Similarly, silver prices also continued to decline, following the trend of gold in the domestic market. The price of silver dropped by Rs 140 per tola on Thursday. The white metal is being traded at Rs 5,010 per tola, down from Rs 5,150 per tola on the previous day.
