KATHMANDU, MARCH 23 Laminar, a fully vitrified tile brand, has expanded its presence in the Kathmandu Valley with the opening of two new showrooms in Bhaktapur. The outlets, located in Sano Thimi and the Bidyeshwori Planning area, have been launched in partnership with Siyaram Group and Panchadewal Suppliers, respectively. According to the company, the expansion aims to enhance customer access to its wide range of tile products designed for residential, hospitality and commercial applications. Laminar currently offers eight collections with more than 550 stock keeping units (SKUs), including full-body tiles and high-performance surfaces featuring PEI 5 abrasion resistance, Mohs hardness of 9 and R10 slip resistance. The company highlighted strong demand for its high-gloss tiles, which feature a gloss value exceeding 104 units-claimed to be the highest in Nepal. Inspired by natural marble and designed in Italy, these tiles are targeted at luxury interiors such as villas, hotels and high-end residential spaces. Speaking at the inauguration, Siyaram Group Director Harish Jajodia Agrawal said the new showroom would allow customers, architects and developers to directly experience Laminar's range of surfaces and designs. Similarly, Panchadewal Suppliers Director Upendra Shahi noted growing demand for durable yet aesthetically refined surfaces, adding that Laminar's marble-inspired designs and impervious technology have made it a preferred choice in premium interiors. Laminar Director Abhinav Churiwal said the company is focused on delivering globally competitive engineered surfaces manufactured in Nepal. He added that production is carried out at its facility in Bardiya using Italian glaze and Spanish digital ink technologies. The company said it plans to further expand its showroom network across the country.
