Chief Justice Raut Submits FY 2081/082 Judicial Reports to President Paudel

KATHMANDU, MARCH 25 Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut has submitted the annual reports of the Supreme Court, the Judicial Council, and the Judicial Service Commission for the fiscal year 2081/082 to President Ramchandra Paudel. Chief Justice Raut presented the reports at a programme held at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, today. On the occasion, President Paudel underscored the need to make the administration of justice swift, efficient, accessible, and accountable to the people, in order to uphold the judicial principle of equality before the Constitution and the law, as well as equal protection for all. He noted that such measures would further strengthen public trust and confidence in the judiciary. He also highlighted the exemplary role of information technology in enhancing efficiency and transparency across the entire judicial process-from case registration to the enforcement of judgments. The President further expressed confidence that the leadership of the judiciary would give due priority to the key recommendations and concerns raised in various reports and take appropriate steps to reinforce judicial independence and accountability.
