Gold, silver prices continue decline

KATHMANDU, MARCH 27 The price of fine gold declined further in the domestic market on Friday, dropping by Rs 4,600 per tola, extending its recent downward trend. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 281,000 per tola, down from Rs 285,600 per tola on Thursday. Similarly, silver price also recorded a decline. The price of silver fell by Rs 150 per tola and is being traded at Rs 4,670 per tola, compared to Rs 4,820 per tola on Thursday, the federation said. The continued drop in both gold and silver prices follows recent market fluctuations after a brief rebound earlier in the week.
