KATHMANDU, MARCH 28 Three people were killed and 15 others injured in a road accident at Daunne along the East-West Highway in Bardaghat Municipality–4 on Friday night. The accident occurred at around 12:40 am when a truck (Na 7 Kha 9398) heading west from the east rammed into a bus (Lu 2 Kha 2351) and a pickup (Na 5 Cha 2275) traveling in the same direction, police said. Following the collision, the bus and truck fell off the road, while the pickup veered to the roadside. According to Assistant Superintendent of Police Tirtharaj Poudel, the deceased have been identified as Govinda Budha, around 25, from Rolpa Bagmara, along with two other men whose identities are yet to be confirmed. One of the victims was trapped inside the bus. Of the injured, 13 have been referred to Lumbini City Hospital in Butwal for further treatment, while two are undergoing treatment at Chisapani Hospital. (With inputs from RSS)
