Govt unveils delivery-based governance plan with 100 priorities

KATHMANDU, MARCH 29 The government has introduced a delivery-based governance framework aimed at ensuring result-oriented and accountable public service delivery. Approved by the Cabinet, the plan includes preparing a 'National Commitment' by consolidating key pledges from political parties' election manifestos. Ministries have been directed to prepare action plans for 10 priority tasks within a week, including timelines and performance indicators. A taskforce will also be formed within seven days to prepare a Constitution amendment debate paper to build national consensus.
