KATHMANDU, MARCH 30 Lumbini Province Assembly Member Rekha Sharma was detained by the police personnel last night. Sharma's spouse Chintamani Sharma confirmed the arrest of Province Assembly Member Sharma from her residence in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu. A team of the Nepal Police from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office detained her at 11:00 pm on Sunday. The Province Assembly Member, elected from the CPN (UML), is accused of forcing a young girl into child labour.
