KATHMANDU, MARCH 30 The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has ordered the shutdown of online betting applications and related websites. Acting on the directive to block such platforms within 24 hours, the Nepal Telecommunications Authority coordinated with internet service providers to disable access to the apps and websites. The decision was taken following a meeting led by Minister for Communications and Information Technology Bikram Timilsina, along with ministry officials and division chiefs.
