Gold price drops Rs 2,500 per tola; silver also declines

KATHMANDU, MARCH 30 Gold price declined by Rs 2,500 per tola in the domestic market on Monday, a day after a sharp rise. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 283,500 per tola, down from Rs 286,000 per tola on Sunday. The price had increased by Rs 5,000 per tola a day earlier. Silver price also fell, decreasing by Rs 20 per tola. The metal is being traded at Rs 4,700 per tola on Monday, compared to Rs 4,720 per tola on Sunday.
