KATHMANDU, APRIL 1 Aloft Kathmandu Thamel has announced that its Marketing Manager, Suarpana Shahi, has been honoured with the 'Select Property Marketing Leader of the Year' award at the Marriott ELITE Awards 2025. The ELITE Awards, organised by Marriott International, recognise outstanding professionals across sales, marketing, revenue strategy and leadership roles. Winners are selected based on performance, leadership, guest service and community engagement. Shahi, who has over 12 years of experience in hospitality and brand development, has been serving at the hotel since April 2023. She has led marketing and public relations strategies aligned with global standards while strengthening the hotel's presence in the local market. General Manager Vikram Singh said Shahi's leadership and creativity have significantly enhanced the hotel's brand and marketing initiatives. Expressing her gratitude, Shahi said the recognition reflects the collective efforts of the team and acknowledged the support of the management and staff. The hotel said the award reinforces its commitment to excellence and innovation. It follows the property's earlier recognition, when its sales team won the 'Select Property Sales Team of the Year' title in 2024.
