HoR, National Assembly meetings scheduled today

KATHMANDU, APRIL 6 Separate meetings of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the National Assembly (NA) are scheduled for today. The HoR will convene at 1:00 pm, where three ordinances are set to be tabled for approval, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat. General Secretary Padhma Prasad Pandey said Home Minister Sudhan Gurung will present the 'Voter List (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2082', 'HoR Member Election (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2082' and 'Nepal Special Service (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2082'. Meanwhile, the National Assembly meeting is scheduled for 12:15 pm at Singha Durbar. During the meeting, NA member Prem Prasad Dangal is expected to propose Lila Kumari Bhandari for election as Vice Chairperson of the upper house. Prime Minister Balendra Shah is also slated to present the 24th annual report of the National Human Rights Commission for the fiscal year 2080/81.
