Gold price rises by Rs 400 per tola; silver also gains

KATHMANDU, April 7 The price of gold in the domestic market increased by Rs 400 per tola on Tuesday, partially recovering from the previous day's sharp decline. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 291,800 per tola, up from Rs 291,400 per tola on Monday, when prices had dropped by Rs 2,600. Silver price also edged higher, rising by Rs 40 per tola. The metal, which was traded at Rs 4,780 per tola on Monday, increased to Rs 4,820 per tola on Tuesday.
