KATHMANDU, APRIL 7 Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Sasmit Pokharel, who also holds the portfolio of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has pledged government support for the construction of the Phapla Cricket Ground in Dhangadhi, Kailali. The Minister, who arrived in Dhangadhi today, made the commitment while briefly speaking to the media during an inspection of the cricket ground. He stated that Sudurpaschim Province has a strong passion for cricket and emphasized that the government prioritizes the development of cricket infrastructure. The Minister is in Dhangadhi to participate in a Senate meeting of Shahid Dashrath Chand Health Sciences University, based in Geta, Kailali.
