KATHMANDU, APRIL 10 Nepal Veterinary Association during its 16th national conference held in Tilottama, Rupandehi presented NVA National Award to Sital Kaji Shrestha who is also the past president of the association. Shrestha was felicitated with the award by Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Chet Narayan Acharya for his special contribution in upliftment of Nepalese veterinary sector. He was appreciated for his role that he played on behalf of the profession in national and international arena. He was specially recognized for his pivotal role in getting veterinary services listed as 'essential services' in the country. Shrestha is so far the youngest president of Nepal Veterinary Association who presided in the post for seven consecutive years for three terms.
